In this article, you will learn how to view denials in your worklist and navigate your worklist. Additional articles are embedded in the different sections to help build your knowledge base for Denials.
1. Grouped Views
Grouping your worklist and sorting those groups by the highest dollar amount helps your team see which types of denials are causing the most pain.
Working denials by group helps your team tackle your biggest impact denials first and saves them from context switching since they can work similar denials in the same effort.
2. Moving to the next denial within a group
Click on an individual denial in a group.
On the top right click on the forward arrow to go to the next claim. Note that in this example it says β1 of 2β this is because the denial selected was in a group of 2.
Clicking on the double arrow button will take you to the next group.
3. Auto-populated appeal forms
Click on Appeal Assistance.
Then click on Appeal Form under the Appeal forms section.
This will open the appeal form saved for the payer. The information will auto populate. This will save you and your team from having to manually complete a form each time you're appealing a denial.
