Why Change User Permissions
Changing user permissions in Rivet allows you to control what each user can view and the actions they can take within your Rivet account. This is important for maintaining security and ensuring that sensitive information is only accessible by those who require it.

Only give users the access they need to perform their job duties. This helps ensure that sensitive information is only accessed by those who require it. Regularly review user permissions to make sure they are still appropriate for each user's job duties. This can help prevent unauthorized access to sensitive information. When in doubt, err on the side of caution and limit access to sensitive information.
Steps to Change Permissions
Changing permissions will follow these steps:
Click on your practice name at the top right of the screen.
Select 'Account' from the dropdown menu. This will take you to the Account screen in Rivet.
On the left-hand menu, select the "Users" view, which will take you to a secondary view within the Account screen.
In this secondary view, you'll see a list of all persons (both admin and users) with current access to Rivet.
Find the specific user whose permissions need to be set or changed.
To the right of the specific user listing, find the 3-dot button and select 'Manage Permissions' from the dropdown menu.
From this new view, you'll be able to check or uncheck permissions for that user as desired.
Before exiting this page with its newly adjusted permissions, make sure to hit 'Save' at the top right side of the screen.
