1. Understanding Benefit Selection in Estimates

Benefit selection in estimates refers to the process of choosing between two co-insurance benefits returned for the same Service Type Code (STC) and Place of Service (POS) in Rivet. Previously, Rivet would default to the lower benefit, which occasionally led to underestimations. To address this, users can now customize the benefits selection to align with their preferences.

2. Steps to Customize Benefit Selection

1. Click on your account name in the top right corner of Rivet

Click on CS…

2. Navigate to Account

Click on Account

3. Click estimates on the left side at the bottom

Click on Estimates

4. Click on the Edit button.

Click on Edit

5. In the Edit Estimate Settings Modal, scroll to the Benefit Selection section at the bottom

Click on Benefit selection…

6. Choose between two options: Higher (default) or Lower

Click on Lower

7. Click the Submit button to apply the preferred benefit selection for estimates.
