This functionality is designed to streamline operations by ensuring estimates are only completed when the provider, location, fee schedule, and insurance benefits criteria match. The initial setup requires integrating Rivet with your patient appointment system, mapping fee schedules, and creating estimate templates for various appointment types. 1. Setting Up Automation
To begin automating your estimate creation process, navigate to your account settings. Here’s how:
Go to Account Settings > Estimates > Automation.
Use the appointment type dropdown menu to select the appointment types for which you want to automate estimate creation.
2. Configuring Estimate Creation
In this section, you determine when Rivet should create estimates and set defaults for unspecified values in patient appointments:
Timing: Choose to generate estimates at the time of scheduling, upon significant appointment changes, or up to a specified number of days before the appointment.
Defaults: Set up fallback options for when certain information is missing, such as service location or provider details, and decide whether to include patients with multiple insurances.
3. Location Mapping and Criteria
Define mapping rules that instruct Rivet on which estimate template to use, based on:
Rule Priority: If an appointment matches multiple rules, Rivet prioritizes the rule that appears first in your list.
