Learn how to filter your claims in Rivet This guide explains the basics of claim filtering.

Updated over a week ago

1. Claim Filter Overview

Claim filtering is the process of selecting a subset of your data for viewing or analysis. Rivet Health provides numerous categories to build filters, allowing you to explore different trends within your claims data.

2. Using Quick Filters

To quickly filter your claims, navigate to the Claims page:

  • Rivet Navigation: Account resources > All claims

  • Rivet defaults to showing the total picture, but you can customize specific filters to drill down into details.

  • You can add quick filters for Service date, Payment issue, Mapped payer, Rendering provider, Procedure code, and Facility name and address.

3. Adding Advanced Filters

For more detailed filtering:

  • At the top left of the filter pane, click "+ Add filter."

  • This will bring up the complete list of relevant filters.

4. Understanding Advanced Filter Logic

Rivet uses a combination of logic when selecting advanced filters:

  • Any: This is equivalent to an "OR" filter, selecting any of the chosen options.

  • Not Any: This filters out selected options. For example, show all adjustment codes except CO-45.
