The Payer Portal Automator can fill in forms for you on payer portals. In this article, you will learn about the Payer Portal Automator, a browser extension that auto-fills the fields on the payer’s portal using the information that lives in Rivet.

  1. Getting started

First, download the Payer Portal Automator to your browser following this link or navigating to the Google Chrome store and searching for Payer Portal Automator by Rivet.

  6. Check to see that the selected claim is the claim you want to work on by looking at the information on the extension if it isn’t, either search for a claim in the search bar in the extension or refresh the Rivet tab that is on the claim you want to use.

3. FAQ

What if I don’t use Chrome?

Currently, the extension is available on Chrome and Chrome-based browsers. If you use Microsoft Edge, follow these instructions here.

How do I make sure the information I’m filling in is from the right claim?

The claim information is on the extension popup. To see more claim information, click on the show details button.

What if the selected claim on the extension isn’t the one I want to work on the portal?

Click on the search bar in the extension to find the claim you’re looking for or refresh the Rivet tab with the correct claim.

What if none of the fields in the dropdown match what I’m looking for?

Click on the search bar in the dropdown and search for the field or value you’re looking for. Then click on the correct field. If it says “not found,” that means that information isn’t in Rivet, and probably not in the 835 (and/or 837).

It works in Availity, but not in XYZ Payer portal/website. Why is this? If this is the case, please let us fix that for you. Message support and we will work on making sure it works on your chosen Portal/website.

If you have any additional questions about the Claim Resolution feel free to chat in or email at support@rivethealth.com.
