How to Perform Eligibility Checks for a Single Patient in Rivet,

Eligibility Checks through the Patient Page

  1. From the homepage, click on "Patients" in the middle of your screen. Alternatively, you can click on "Patients" in the top left corner of the screen from anywhere in Rivet, and then select "Patients" from the drop-down menu.

  3. Search for the patient that you want to perform the eligibility check for using the search box in the top right corner. Once you have found the patient, click on their name in the list.

  4. Click on the "Eligibility" tab on the patient's Rivet profile.

  5. Click the purple "+ Check Eligibility" button in the top right corner.

  6. Select the provider you wish to perform the check for and the service types that the patient will be coming in for and click the "Submit" button in the bottom right corner.

  7. Once the page loads, you should see the eligibility screen for your patient. You can view the benefits that they have here as well as payer, patient, and provider information.

Eligibility Checks through the Eligibility Table

  1. Click on the "Estimates" tab in the top left of your browser, and then select "Eligibility" from the drop-down.

  2. This will take you to the Eligibility page where you can view all previous eligibility checks made in your practice. To start a new eligibility check for a patient, click the "+ Check Eligibility" button in the top right corner.

  3. Search for the patient's name that you wish to perform an eligibility check for.

  4. Then select the provider and service types that they will be coming in to see, and click the "Submit" button in the bottom right corner.

  5. Once the page loads, you should see the eligibility screen for your patient. You can view the benefits that they have here as well as payer, patient, and provider information.
