Updating Patient Information in Rivet

Learn how to update a patients information in Rivet.

Getting Started

Click on the "Patients" box on the main Rivet screen,

use the search bar located at the top right side of the screen to search for the patient whose information you'd like to change.

Accessing the "Edit" Modal

There are several options for accessing the "Edit" modal in Rivet:

Option 1: Using the Ellipses: Click on the ellipses on the right-hand side of the patient field, and from the resulting dropdown, select "Edit."

Option 2: Clicking into the Patient: Click anywhere in the patient field, which will bring you to the patient card listing all patient information. From there, click on the "Edit" button at the top right.

Option 3: From the Eligibility Page: On the eligibility check page, click on the patient's name, and from the resulting screen, click on the "Edit" button at the top right.

Option 4: From the Estimate Page: On the estimate page, click the "Patient Name" field.

Making Changes

Once you've accessed the "Edit" modal, you can enter any changes to the member ID number, name, address, insurance payer, and more. For a more detailed breakdown of entering information in this modal, check out our "Add Patient" article.

Saving Changes

Once you've made all necessary changes, be sure to hit "Submit" in the bottom lefthand corner to save all changes in Rivet.
