Configure denial statuses in Rivet to better reflect your team’s workflow.

Updated over a week ago

To better reflect your team's workflow, you can configure denial statuses in Rivet. Here are the steps to create, edit, and delete a status:

  1. Navigate to your denials settings by clicking on Denials on the main page.

  2. Click into the Settings tab.

  3. Click the Statuses tab > Edit Statuses.

  4. To add a new status, click the Add status button. Type in your status name and description, select a color, and click Save status changes.

  5. To edit a status, you can type in a new status name and description, as long as you change the color. Detected and Recovered statuses are locked from editing due to having Rivet automation attached to them. Click Save status changes.

  6. To delete a status, click the trash icon. If the status has automations associated with it, then you will not be able to delete the status until you've edited or deleted those automations.

  7. If the status has denials associated with it but no automations, then you'll be prompted to transfer the denials to another status before you can delete the original status.

  8. If the status does not have any automations or denials associated with it, then you'll be prompted to confirm the deletion, and the status will be deleted.

By configuring denial statuses in Rivet, you can customize your team's workflow and better manage your denials.
